The X-Ray Group (XRG) is the owner and operator of the website www.xraygroup.com.au (Website). XRG supports the protection of customerís privacy rights as a fundamental element of our business.
Section 1: What Information do we collect?
Personal Information is information or an opinion, true or false about an individual whose identity is apparent or can be reasonably ascertained from the information or opinion (Personal Information).
You are free to visit and use our Website without providing any Personal Information. However services are offered on our Website that require registration and/or submission of Personal Information. In order to register or otherwise take advantage of the products and personalised services that we offer on our Website, you will have to provide Personal Information.
In the course of doing business, XRG may collect Personal Information about its customers which will include information such as: names, addresses, telephone numbers, credit card information and e-mail addresses. We will not collect from you any sensitive information revealing your race, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships or details of health or disability. Exceptions to this include:

- when the information is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim.

In order to obtain access to certain services you must submit the following information: your name, a selected username and password, email address, mailing address, area or zip code and credit card information.
We use the Personal Information you provide through registration to provide services regarding immigration to and securing work in Australia and internationally; conduct billing and account activity; and respond to any questions that you submit. From time to time we might need to update you about your account, contact you regarding a billing question, notify you about changes to our services, or otherwise send you service-related announcements. For example, if a service to which you have subscribed is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email to notify you of the service suspension. Or, we may need to contact you with respect to a billing matter. You will not be able to unsubscribe from these transactional emails. You will be permitted to unsubscribe from all other emails that are not transactional in nature.
In those circumstances, we will use your Personal Information to contact you. By registering for our services, you consent to XRG contacting you about your account. Based upon the Personal Information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password.
If you do you not wish XRG to contact you regarding your account, please do not register on our Website. You are of course free to unsubscribe to any other emails that you receive from us.
The Website records standard information such as time, date and URL of request (the web page you arrived from) via our web servers. This information is recorded by all web servers and is used to improve the functionality, structure and performance of websites.

This will enable you to take full advantage of the services and features that the Website offers. An employee of XRG may contact members via email, telephone or postal mail for potential interviews and feature stories. Testimonials and Success Stories are effective tools in communicating the impact of programs available from XRG. Participation in editorial or interview requests is strictly voluntary and you are free to refuse to participate. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. Security of your information online
Data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we will strive to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from our online products and services. These activities are conducted at your own risk.
However, XRG does provide a secure server for selected services. These services use Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL), which is the industry standard for encryption technology. SSL encryption technology makes it almost impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party. For obvious reasons, please do not send credit card information through unsecured electronic mail.

Section 5: Updating your Information and contacting XRG
If you wish to change your personal information, which is inaccurate or out-of-date, you must notify us by sending a letter or fax signed by you; and the record will be changed. Your notification should be marked to the attention of our Privacy Officer.
